This past Sunday the talented Peter Han, some former students from the Concept Design Academy (CDA) Dynamic Sketching class, and I went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA. For those that don't know, I've been helping out Peter with this class for the past 2 years and it has been a blast!
We got the opportunity to hang out in a classroom and touch some of the sea life. I think all of us reverted back to being 5-yrs-olds and were ooooing and awwwing over all the cool stuff. Some students squealed but I assure you that no one was hurt in the making of his field trip.
Here are more of my sketches from the day.
Good times for all and I can't wait to do it again. If you are interested in a class like this then check CDA's website and blog. Classes are pretty much filled for the coming fall term; however, sign up for the email list and seriously consider taking classes with us in January 2013. Till then, draw, draw, draw, practice everyday, and I hope to see some of you next year as students!
