Next up is another contest I am working on due on the 11th of Jan, hopefully I can pop this sucker out with all the other things I need to get done like renew my drivers license...ugh.
Anyways, on to the art. These were a series of watercolors done for Kay so she could send out to her family. She asked me as a favor to do some and of course I waited till the last minute to do them. Actually, they turned out pretty well and I had a lot of fun doing them. I got into my greeting card mode and popped out some fun things.
Here's so you can see how big I was drawing these at. Pretty small, but still enough in there. I think working at a small size freed me up to just put down what was important. Hope whoever got these enjoys them. I might do more of em next year, we'll see, I say that now.
I'll post some work in progress shots from that other contest I am working on. I am also in a gallery show Jan 8th at Gallery 1988 called "Under the Influence" a tribute to Stan Lee. I will post more on that next time!
