Designer Con Nov 9-10

Designer Con (DCON) is this weekend, November 9-10, at Pasadena, CA (http://www.designercon.com/). Find me at booth #330.

This year I was given the privilege to design the official DCON T-shirt as well as create a DCON exclusive print available only at the show.

Designer Con Recap

Whew, what a whirlwind of a day. It started off slow but boy it did pick up for us. Thank you again to everyone for coming out to support. A special thanks to all our new friends who came by and enjoyed the work. I know I am doing my job whenever I hear people stop by the booth, look at the art, chuckle and giggle.

There was so much cool stuff there it was like being a kid in a giant candy-toy store all wrapped up into one.

Here are some of the commissions I did during the day as well as their happy recipients.

I look forward to the coming back next year, thanks again to Designer Con for a wonderful experience!!!

Brownie Coats

As promised, here is the last print that will make its debut at DesignerCon 2012 tomorrow. "Firefly" was a great show and I just loved the dynamics of the cast. Sadly, they cut it way too short and never gave it a chance. I bet they are kicking themselves in the butt now for letting Mr. Joss go.

Again, my little take on one of my favorite shows, I already have another one in the works so check back in the coming months for that and see you all tomorrow!

Designer Con 2012

Hi Everyone! If you are looking for something different to do this weekend then check out Designer Con 2012 this Saturday only, November 3rd, at the Pasadena Convention Center.

This will be my first year there: selling prints and books plus I'll do handful or two of commissions if you hit me up early enough. I will be at booth 816---look at the image below so you know where to find me.

You might be asking, "Santa, what is Designer Con?" It's an annual art and design convention that has collectible toys, clothing, urban, underground, and pop art. So there's something for everyone; it's not your ordinary comic book convention. It's only for 1 day so don't miss out and get your $5 tickets online now ($7 at the door; check out their website for more info).

I will premier one more print this Friday but until then, get your tickets now and make sure to stop my booth to say hi. Look forward to seeing some familiar and new faces out there.

To stay in the Halloween spirit, here is a peek at another print I will be selling this weekend

Have fun and be safe tonight!

The Waking Dead

For all of you who love and watch "The Walking Dead" like I do, man season 3 is kicking butt! Anyway, this is my take on it with a slight twist of course.
The Waking Dead
I just wrapped up this piece for Designer Con 2012, which I will be attending. It's a one-day event at the Pasadena Convention Center on Saturday, November 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are only $5 online and there will be so many cool vendors like yours truly! This will be a great place to pick up gifts for yourself, family, imaginary friends, postman, etcetera; most especially since the holidays are right around the corner. For more information, check it out at http://www.designercon.com/.

Along with this print, I will debut two other new prints at the convention so please stop by say to say hi and pick one up (or two or three or more) for only $15 each. I will be doing a small run of these so get them while they are hot!

Have any questions? Would  you like to preorder a print? Then just shoot me an email at patrick.ballesteros@gmail.com

Stay tuned for more information as well as previews of the other two prints!

Thanks again everyone.
